✅INGREDIENTS:
Doug:
2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
A pinch of salt
Water, as needed
Filling:
2 medium potatoes, boiled and chopped
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
✅INTRUCTIONS:
1-Dough Preparation
1.1- Mix the flour, salt, and oil in a bowl
2 cups all-purpose flour + A pinch of salt +
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1.2- Add water gradually and knead into a firm dough
Water, as needed
C- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside
2- Filling Preparation
2.1- Heat a little oil in a pan

2.2- Add cumin, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant
teaspoon cumin seeds +1 teaspoon grated ginger
2.3- Add the boiled potatoes, peas, and all the spices. Cook for a few minutes
2 medium potatoes, boiled and chopped +1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder +1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder + Salt to taste
2.4- Slightly mash the potatoes while mixing well with the spices. The filling is ready. Let it cool
3- Assembling the Samosas :
3.1-Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle
3.2-Cut each circle in half to get two semicircles
3.3- Fold each semicircle into a cone shape and seal the edges with a little water
3.4- Fill the cone with the potato filling
3.5- Fold the open end of the cone over the filling to form a triangle, press the edges to seal it well .
4- Frying :
4.1- Heat oil in a deep pan, making sure it's very hot
4.2- Fry the samosas until they are golden and crispy
4.3- Drain the excess oil on paper towels
Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice!
